WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Assembly Operative, you will support the full lifecycle of data centre hardware operations, including deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning. You will work hands-on with compute, storage, and networking equipment, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
● Installation, replacing, and decomm of fiber jumpers
● Locating material and exchanging incorrect material
● Labeling and scanning of fiber jumpers
● Troubleshooting fiber jumper connectivity issues
● Managing informational PCRs (creation, opening, closure)
● Reviewing material availability timelines and identifying alternatives when required
● Coordinating with client teams in regards to site readiness, material delivery, and service support
● Coordinating scissor lifts and other equipment for specific data center floor activities
● Managing fully provisioned resources according to work volume, forecasted timelines, and client SLOs
● Adhering to all client MOPs, standards, and operational procedures
● Providing regular progress and performance reports
● Escalating blocking or high-impact issues to client in a timely manner
