Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and/or minimum of three years working in a quality related position. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Strong and demonstrated understanding of SPC. Strong experience with ISO. ASQ certification is a plus but not required. Experience with GMP’s required and various organizations such as ASI, and AIB/SQF preferred. College degree is preferred. Must be able to wear protective clothing as hair net, uniform, steel toe shoes, bump cap and ear plugs. Hot and cold, noisy environment, with odors.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Use of mathematical skills in spreadsheets desired.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of U.V. radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Full-time, 24/7 operating manufacturing plant availability as needed.
