Our Baltimore Return to Work program will run from January 18, 2027 through May 7, 2027 in our Baltimore office. This 16-week paid program places participants in roles that align with their existing expertise while also broadening their horizons through comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development.
Associate/Director, P3, Internal Operations & Quality Control, Talent Enablement- Return to Work Candidates
We’re seeking someone to join our Internal Audit Talent Enablement team as an Associate/Director focused on executing the department’s communication strategy and engagement initiatives.
The Internal Audit Division (IAD) drives attention and resources to vulnerabilities by providing an independent and well-informed view and impactful messages about the most important risks facing our Firm. This is accomplished by performing a range of assurance activities to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley’s system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. IAD serves as an objective and independent function within the Firm’s risk management framework to foster continual improvement of risk management processes. This is an Associate/Director level position within Internal Operations and Quality Control, which is responsible for efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high-quality assurance services.​
Responsibilities
What you’ll do in the role:
•
Understand and adopt new communication tools and techniques
•
Develop and distribute clear and concise communications and marketing materials that promote employee participation, increase awareness of key programs, and reinforce departmental priorities
•
Identify and leverage data to drive the communication strategy forward and help inform future improvements
•
Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to develop clear, audience-focused communications
•
Effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work
•
Maintain and update Internal Audit’s intranet platforms
•
Manage editorial and communications calendars to support timely prioritization of communication requests and content delivery
•
Coordinate monthly communications and engagement roundtables to support the planning and execution of communication and engagement campaigns across the department
•
Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, networking events, and department-wide activities that foster a positive and inclusive employee experience
•
Identify and recommend communication best practices to enhance employee engagement and information sharing
Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
•
Strong writing skills and familiarity with the Associated Press writing style
•
Experience working with various digital communication channels
•
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt messages to various audiences
•
Strong project management skills, including ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality results within tight timelines
•
Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to optimize processes and create efficiencies in communication workflows, preferred
•
A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors
•
Willingness to solicit and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
•
At least 2-6 years’ experience in a communications-related role would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
•
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
Program Duration: Return to Work programs will run for approximately 16 weeks from January 18, 2027 to May 7, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria: This program is designed for individuals who have been out of the workforce for two or more years. The two-year eligibility requirement will be calculated as of the January 2027 program start date.
Benefits
Return to Work Program Compensation: Expected base pay rate during the 16-week Return to Work Program is $28.85 per hour (annualized at $60,000).

Salary range for the position: $28.85 - $28.85 per hour. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
