About the Role
Happen Bank is looking for a strategic, execution-focused Sr Performance Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition and growth across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display. Reporting to the Sr Director of Growth Marketing, you’ll own channel strategy and execution, use performance insights and experimentation to optimize investment, and identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and business outcomes.
You’ll partner closely with Analytics, Product, Legal, Operations, Finance, and external agencies to launch and optimize campaigns while bringing strong analytical judgment and hands-on digital marketing expertise to a fast-moving, regulated environment.
What You’ll Do
•
Own and manage Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display campaigns for Personal Loans, while partnering across Direct Mail, Partners/Affiliates, Email, and Online & Mobile Banking cross-sell initiatives with support from Performance Marketing Agency and Analytics teams
•
Analyze and report on daily, weekly, and monthly channel trends and KPIs, identifying optimization opportunities and translating performance insights into recommendations that improve acquisition and business outcomes
•
Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership based on channel performance, customer behavior, and business results
•
Lead ad creative and landing page experimentation, using testing and performance insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and conversion
•
Influence and partner with Legal, Product, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams to advance new channel initiatives and achieve critical business objectives
•
Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to define timelines, align dependencies, and launch new campaigns and initiatives from ideation through execution
•
Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, campaign development, experimentation, and optimization while maintaining strong judgment around accuracy, customer data, brand standards, and where human oversight matters most
About You
•
6+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
•
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•
Deep hands-on experience managing Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition and measurable business outcomes
•
Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Google DV360, The Trade Desk, Meta, and YouTube
•
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize channel and customer data into meaningful insights, KPIs, and actionable recommendations
•
Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms and marketing technology, including cookies, pixels, UTMs, and related measurement capabilities
•
Strong ownership mindset with a sense of urgency and bias for action, including the ability to independently drive initiatives from planning through launch and optimization
•
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence internal and external partners and communicate recommendations effectively to senior leaders
•
You have hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate your work and improve output quality, and you’re comfortable sharing effective approaches with others while applying sound judgment around accuracy, customer data, brand standards, and where human oversight matters most
