Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell is a leading provider of innovative technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD) electronics markets, providing complete solutions including controllers, product firmware, and reference board designs. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.
What You Can Expect
•
Work on-site in the hardware lab, supporting embedded CI activities
•
Maintain, manage, and organize PCBs/boards used by Dev and QA teams
•
Perform board bring-up, flashing, validation, and troubleshooting
•
Track board inventory, revisions, failures, and repair status
•
Develop and maintain Python-based automation for testing, flashing, diagnostics, and monitoring
•
Automate firmware builds, deployment, validation, and regression workflows
•
Identify and distinguish issues across hardware, firmware, OS, and interfaces
•
Coordinate with hardware, firmware, QA, and DevOps teams for issue resolution
•
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated release validation for embedded software.
•
Ensure lab safety, board handling best practices, and ESD compliance
What We’re Looking For
•
4–6 years of experience in Embedded Systems operations or support roles
•
Strong Python /Bash scripting skills with hands-on automation experience
•
Practical experience working in an embedded hardware lab environment
•
Hands-on exposure to PCB/board bring-up, flashing, and debugging
•
Experience with Linux systems (OS installations, Raspberry Pi image install)
•
Experience using Git and version control systems
•
Basic networking and security knowledge for embedded devices
•
Bachelor in Electronics or Computer Systems Engineering, Master and above preferred.
•
Good communication skills in English and Japanese
Nice to have
Preferred:
•
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
•
Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, Ethernet
•
Experience with Python test frameworks (PyTest)
•
Good to understand hardware schematics and board-level components
