As a Global Procurement Specialist - Ingredients, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of Diageo’s global ingredients category strategy. Working closely with the Global Procurement Manager and a broad network of internal and external partners, you’ll help deliver sourcing excellence, build strong supplier relationships and identify opportunities to create value across the category.
You’ll lead and support competitive sourcing activities from end to end, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, commercial evaluations, contract implementation and supplier onboarding. Using market intelligence, spend analysis and supplier performance data, you’ll identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve productivity, mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.
Collaboration is central to the role. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to support governance, performance reviews and Joint Business Planning, ensuring strong partnerships that contribute to the successful delivery of the category strategy.
You’ll also harness digital procurement tools, AI, analytics and reporting to enhance sourcing effectiveness and support data-driven decision making. Alongside this, you’ll help ensure compliance with Procurement governance and contribute to delivering Diageo’s Procurement 2028 priorities across Simplify, Scale and Orchestrate.
