We are hiring a Workplace Experience Manager to build the people and workplace systems that let a fast-growing team do its best work.
About the Role
As a Workplace Experience Manager, you will own and build the people and workplace infrastructure of a scaling, multi-jurisdiction startup. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build processes from scratch, not maintain someone else’s system. You’ll own and create the end-to-end employee experience including onboarding, and day-to-day workplace operations.
What You’ll Own
Workplace
•
Day-to-day operations of our workspaces: access, seating, supplies, maintenance
•
Vendor management: cleaning, security, building management, catering
•
Workplace spend against budget, working with our Controller on approvals
•
Device and asset management: equipment procurement, provisioning, tracking, and recovery
•
Health and safety compliance and emergency procedures
People operations
•
Onboarding end to end: getting new hires set up with everything needed to
•
Benefits administration and the broker relationship, including annual renewal
•
Employee handbook and policy maintenance, working alongside our in-house counsel on anything legal or compliance-related
•
Team events, offsites, and the rituals that make an in-person culture worth showing up for
You might be a fit if
Requirements
•
4+ years across people operations, HR operations, workplace, or office management, with real depth in at least two
•
You’ve onboarded people at volume and can describe a process you built that survived your absence
•
Comfortable with vendors, budgets, and saying no to a quote
•
High trust with confidential information
•
Direct communicator who is comfortable being the person everyone asks
