About the Role
We are looking for a mission-driven commercial leader who combines the mindset of a General Manager with the capabilities of a Product Strategist — bringing a genuine passion for clean energy and a greener future, with experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as a strong plus.
As the ultimate owner of your product line, you will drive the full lifecycle transformation of market opportunities into high-yield, scalable businesses. You will define the strategy, lead commercialization, maximize profitability, and build long-term enterprise value. Serving as the master orchestrator between Sales, Engineering, Software, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Service, you will align the entire organization around a single goal: delivering unmatched customer value and sustainable, profitable growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Strategy & Market
•
Build, own, and execute the multi-year commercial strategy and financial growth model for your product line to drive revenue, gross margins, profitability, and long-term enterprise value
•
Evaluate market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and unit economics to pinpoint high-growth applications, target segments, and market opportunities
Product & Roadmap
•
Translate the voice of the customer and market requirements into differentiated, commercially successful product offerings with compelling value propositions
•
Define, validate, and continuously monitor product roadmaps while actively promoting them and driving buy-in across all key internal and external stakeholders
Cross-Functional Execution
•
Act as the strategic orchestrator across Sales, Engineering, Software, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Service to lead cross-functional development from concept through successful commercial launch with rapid time-to-market
•
Develop and drive go-to-market strategies, pricing models, sales enablement tools, and commercialization plans that ensure market penetration and sales execution
Commercial & Lifecycle
•
Manage the full product lifecycle from launch to phase-out while building sustainable after-sales, maintenance, service, and recurring revenue models around the installed base
•
Leverage operational product data and market insights to drive continuous product performance improvements, identify digital and software service opportunities, and boost product margins
What Makes You a Successful Candidate
•
Extensive experience in Product Management, Business Unit Management, Commercial Management, or a comparable General Manager-style leadership role
•
Strong track record scaling complex B2B technology products internationally from initial development to market success
•
Proven ownership of business plans, product line profitability, pricing models, and analytical business case development
•
Demonstrated ability to combine high-level strategic vision with pragmatic, hands-on execution
•
Ability to translate complex engineering and technology capabilities into clear customer value propositions and scalable business models
•
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities, with comfort operating in a dynamic scale-up environment
•
Strong communicator in English; good working German is a plus given our DACH-based stakeholders
What Will Make You Stand Out

Experience within energy storage systems, renewable energy, power systems, industrial technology, or electrical equipment industries
•
Specialized knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems, BMS, EMS, energy markets, power electronics, software-enabled products, data analytics, or recurring revenue business models
