* Act as the single point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests, managing and prioritizing tickets to minimize backlog.
*Monitor system health and ensure business continuity following established incident management procedures.
*Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to vendors when required, while keeping users informed of progress.
*Deploy, administer, and maintain end-user devices (computers, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile phones, scanners, etc.).
*Manage the full lifecycle of end-user and server infrastructure, including procurement, SOE builds, hardware diagnosis, warranty claims, and decommissioning.
*Maintain IT asset inventory, software/OS licensing, and conduct regular end-user audits.
*Administer Active Directory, security groups, and user accounts in collaboration with HR.
*Support video conferencing (on-prem & cloud) and general AV facilities.
*Commission, maintain, and decommission on-site network infrastructure, including racking, provisioning, and fibre/ethernet patching.
*Perform server maintenance through regular updates, backup monitoring, and troubleshooting.
*Ensure compliance with ALS cybersecurity standards, including systems validation and site access card management.
*Administer local server applications and support laboratory management systems.
*Contribute to IT policies, procedures, and organisational change management controls.
*Provide technical support to project teams and assist in rolling out new applications and solutions.
