We’re looking for a Theatre Practitioner – Recovery to join our Theatre team at The Wellington Hospital. Across 11 operating theatres spanning three buildings, you’ll support patients undergoing a wide range of complex procedures, including neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology and cancer care. As a Theatre Practitioner – Recovery, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team providing expert post anaesthetic care to patients following surgery. Recovery is a vital part of the patient journey, requiring clinical expertise, sound judgement and compassionate care. In this role, you’ll support patients through the immediate post operative phase, monitoring their condition, managing pain relief and supporting airway management to ensure a safe recovery from anaesthesia. Working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary colleagues, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of complex surgical specialties while continuing to build your recovery and acute care experience within one of the UK’s leading private healthcare environments.
