20-bed progressive care unit caring primarily for medical patients, with a frequent—but not exclusive—focus on pulmonary and respiratory conditions. Nurses provide high-acuity care through advanced monitoring, sound clinical judgment, and close collaboration with the care team.

The RN Team Lead serves as a team leader, clinical resource, role model, coach, and facilitator for staff and department operations. Has the responsibility and authority to lead the work group, resolve routine issues, foster a positive and productive work environment, and support fiscally responsible operations. Maintains awareness of organizational initiatives and incorporates applicable practices into the work unit. Refers complex or sensitive issues—such as compensation, staffing, working conditions, hiring, or formal corrective action—to the manager/director. In addition to leadership duties, provides professional nursing care to patients of all ages within the assigned area.
