Define and own the long-term technology vision and multi-year strategy for the core digital experience, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and growth plans; Provide executive-level leadership across multiple engineering teams and domains, setting organizational standards for delivery, quality, and technical excellence; Partner with C-level and VP leadership to translate business strategy into scalable technology initiatives, investment plans, and resourcing models; Oversee architecture and platform strategy across multiple product lines (e.g., live commerce, digital collectibles, B2B platforms), ensuring consistency, interoperability, and long-term scalability; Drive organizational design and workforce planning, including succession planning, leadership development, and hiring strategy for senior engineering leaders; Establish and govern engineering operating models, including development lifecycle standards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement frameworks; Own portfolio-level prioritization of major technical initiatives, balancing innovation, technical debt reduction, risk management, and time-to-market; Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, such as platform modernization, cloud strategy, and internalization of critical systems previously owned by third parties; Set and enforce company-wide best practices for security, compliance, reliability, and resiliency, in partnership with legal, security, and infrastructure teams; Manage enterprise-level vendor and strategic partner relationships, including contract negotiations, performance governance, and long-term dependency reduction; Champion a data- and outcomes-driven culture by defining KPIs at the organizational level and ensuring consistent measurement of business and customer impact; Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology risk, innovation opportunities, and emerging industry trends; Represent engineering leadership in cross-functional executive forums, influencing company-wide decisions that affect product, operations, and customer experience.
