Project Coordinator / Citiis Nodal Officer- Fixed Term-Port Blair

Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day coordination, implementation support and monitoring for the CITIIS 2.0 project, and serve as the primary coordination point for the Municipal Council and relevant agencies.
Key Responsibilities
•
Coordinate overall project planning, implementation and monitoring
•
Prepare implementation plans, schedules and progress updates
•
Coordinate inputs of technical, environmental, social, public engagement and MIS/GIS experts
•
Review DPR-related inputs, technical documents and project reports
•
Monitor physical and financial progress and escalate implementation issues
•
Coordinate with MoHUA, NIUA/CITIIS PMU and other agencies
•
Support CITIIS Management Platform reporting
•
Organise review meetings, workshops, training and capacity-building activities
•
Maintain decisions, action points and follow-up records
•
Support field inspections and related documentation
Minimum Qualification
Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning or a related field.
Minimum Relevant Experience
Minimum 10 years
Preferred Industry Profile
Experience in urban infrastructure or project management preferred. Particularly relevant backgrounds include municipal infrastructure, urban development programmes, PMUs and government or externally funded urban projects.
Key Competencies
Project coordination; implementation monitoring; government and stakeholder coordination; multidisciplinary team coordination; technical and progress reporting; problem-solving; written and verbal communication.
