• Take ownership of the financial control of assigned projects, protecting and enhancing forecast Gross Profit (GP) and cash performance.
• Provide clear visibility and control of project working capital, including accrued income, Accounts Receivable, WIP, GRNI and Accounts Payable.
• Establish robust project financial baselines, ensuring revenue, costs, budgets, milestones and forecasts are accurately maintained.
• Partner with Project Managers to manage financial performance, invoicing, cash flow, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure accurate monthly project reporting and effective financial close-out.
• Review project costs, purchase orders, expenses, supplier invoices and timesheets, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with Group policies.
• Support project forecasting, including EAC/ETC and CAC, analysing performance against budget and identifying key variances, risks and opportunities.
• Manage month-end project activities, including accruals, GRNI, revenue recognition, WIP and Accounts Receivable provisions.
• Ensure revenue is recognised accurately in accordance with IFRS 15, contractual requirements and Group accounting policies.
• Prepare and review GP, working capital and project KPI reporting, providing clear financial analysis and commentary.
• Support Project Managers with change orders, customer PO coverage, invoicing, collections and client disputes.
• Maintain strong project financial controls, data integrity and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
