POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Box Truck Driver/Yard Jockey is a multi-dimensional position necessary for our growing nationwide chain of retail stores. The role will be supporting the transportation department at our Pedricktown New Jersey Distribution Center. This position will include driving one of our delivery trucks to local stores and outside vendors as well as assisting the dock with our inbound and outbound freight.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Deliveries and pickups at various local FiveBelow Stores and outside vendors using a pallet jack and lift gate
•
Ability to stay within delivery windows for various delivery routes
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•
Good communication skills and attention to detail a must
•
Assisting on the transportation department dock with inbound and outbound freight
•
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
•
CDLA Certification preferred
•
Satisfactory Driving Record and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
•
Valid D.O.T. Medical Card or be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen
•
High School/G.E.D. or equivalent
•
Minimum two years of verifiable Commercial Driving experience.
•
Route delivery experience preferred
