As Meraki Labs continues to co-build across its portfolio, we’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to help keep the engine running smoothly across strategy, process, and execution — both within the studio and alongside the founding teams we support.
About the Role
As a Business Operations Associate, you’ll work closely with founders and cross-functional teams (product, growth, finance, and people) to drive operational excellence. You’ll be the person who turns ambiguity into structure — building processes, tracking metrics, and executing on high-priority initiatives that keep the company moving forward.
What You’ll Do
•
Own and streamline core operational processes across the company (vendor management, reporting cadences, internal tools, SOPs)
•
Partner with leadership to define, track, and report on key business metrics and OKRs
•
Drive cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
•
Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and design scalable solutions
•
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking in collaboration with the finance function
•
Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and consultants as needed
•
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and board updates
•
Jump into ad-hoc, high-priority projects wherever the business needs support
What We’re Looking For
•
1–3 years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, analytics, or a related field
•
Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or BI tool experience is a plus
•
Excellent communication skills — able to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights
•
Good working knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) to speed up research, drafting, and analysis
•
A bias for action and comfort operating in ambiguity at a fast-growing startup
•
Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
•
Ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
•
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
•
Prior experience at a startup or in a high-growth environment
•
Exposure to tools like Notion, Airtable, or automation platforms (Zapier, Make)
•
Background in consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical field
