The Pipeline Project Engineer is responsible for support of end-to-end delivery of onshore pipeline and meter systems, including analysis and design, route selection, permitting, tendering, linepipe, coatings, valves, fittings, fabrication, installation, HDD design, geotechnical analysis, hydrotest, pre-commissioning, etc.
The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or manage engineering and delivery of pipelines and related equipment on major onshore pipeline projects and to work with the other disciplines to deliver a totally integrated project.
Specific responsibilities of the job are focused on the design, execution, and delivery of the pipelines and customer lateral scopes of work within project. Typically, this includes the specification, selection, design, award, procurement, construction, and installation for these scopes. The work can span the system selection, FEED, and execution phases of project delivery, as well as commissioning and start-up support.
