Location: This position is based on-site in Moscow, Idaho, and requires five days per week in the office. We will consider only candidates who currently live locally or are willing to relocate.

About the role
As a Custodian (Part-Time) at Lightcast, you will be a key member of the facility management team, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept office environment. This role is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of custodial experience who demonstrate exceptional reliability and take pride in creating a consistently clean and dependable workspace for employees. Reporting hours for this part-time position are Monday through Friday, 1:00PM-5:00PM PT at our Lightcast headquarters location in Moscow, Idaho.
Major Responsibilities
•
Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, breakrooms including kitchen area (fridges, dishwashers, microwave), conference rooms, and restrooms
•
Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables
•
Monitor and replenish cleaning and kitchen (napkins, utensils, plates, paper product) supplies
•
Report and assist with minor facility maintenance issues
•
Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, secure, and hazard-free workplace
•
Support exterior upkeep, including snow removal and basic weed maintenance as needed
•
Complete assigned duties reliably and help maintain a professional, business-ready environment
Education and Experience:
•
1–2 years of custodial experience, preferred
•
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
•
Experience with general cleaning, furniture cleaning, mopping, waste disposal, and sanitization
•
Ability to support snow removal, basic weed maintenance as needed, and regularly lift 50+ lbs.
•
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
•
Ability to take direction and work independently
•
Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
