KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in the insurance or banking sector.
• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, engineering, science, or any other complementary discipline. Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good working knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of broader financial products including capital markets, derivatives, and risk management solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to explain and defend loan recommendations, structuring proposals, and detailed analyses to clients, business partners, and internal business and credit committees.
• Ability to work within a demanding, dynamic, results-oriented team with a client-centric approach, while managing multiple live workstreams independently.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the assessment of unstructured problems.
