YOUR NEW ROLE
Responsibilities
•Design thinking – driving the design and establishment of scalable, maintainable and high-performing application solutions.
•Continually looking for improvement – Challenge the status quo, look for better ways of doing things and passionately advocate continuous improvement.
•Strong communicator – Experience explaining complex technical issues and solutions to senior stakeholders.
•Team player – Recognize and value the different perspectives and skills each team member brings.
•Understand technology risk – Build sustainable outcomes that protect stakeholders and customers while proactively addressing technology and operational risks.
•Customer-focused mindset – Deliver solutions that improve customer and colleague experiences.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
•3+ years’ experience in software engineering, application development and support disciplines, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
•Expert-level hands-on experience in Angular 18, React JS, .NET Core/.NET 8 and Node.js.
•Strong experience in developing, testing and supporting scalable web, API and microservices-based applications.
•Demonstrated capability with application design, development and performance tuning across modern application platforms.
•Experience with REST APIs, authentication frameworks and integration with enterprise and cloud-based platforms.
•Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Git repositories and automated testing frameworks.
•Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
•Work with senior stakeholders in Digital Technology teams.
