You are responsible for the quality assurance of our software products throughout the entire development lifecycle and
you establish and maintain a comprehensive QA and test strategy, drive test automation and Shift-Left practices, and
ensure continuous quality and efficiency improvements through data-driven monitoring and the targeted use of AI tools.
• Creation, documentation and iterative further development of a company-wide QA and test strategy as a living document
– aligned with product development, team structure and technological advancements.
• Early involvement in requirements reviews, Definition of Ready, acceptance criteria and architecture decisions to embed
quality into the development process from the outset.
• Continuous evaluation and enhancement of QA methods, standards and processes based on metrics and retrospectives.
• Identification, evaluation and structured integration of suitable AI tools (e.g. for test generation, error classification or
predictive test selection) into existing QA workflows.
• Development, maintenance and coverage analysis of all test cases (UI, API, End-to-End).
• Creation and maintenance of manual and automated UI and API tests.
• Coordination and execution of exploratory and regression test runs.
• Planning and execution of QA events (e.g. test sessions) in the context of go-lives.
• Implementation, operation and further development of test automation solutions.
• Integration of automated tests into GitLab CI pipelines.
• Maintenance of internal QA repositories including branch and role structure in GitLab.
• Taking on minor DevOps tasks to support build and deploy processes.
• Setup and maintenance of Datadog dashboards for runtime monitoring of tests and system behaviour in staging and
production environments.
• Evaluation of automated test reports and derivation of concrete measures.
• Transparent quality reporting as a basis for team and management decisions.
• Management of defects/bugs: prioritisation, tracking, reporting and maintenance of the bug board.
• Setup and maintenance of test data (test case matrix, customer and item matrix, payment data) for staging environments.
• Ensuring the stability and functionality of staging environments.
• Close alignment with Software Engineers, Tech Lead, Product Owner, UX/UI and QA Services – particularly in early
development phases in line with the Shift-Left approach.
• Mutual support with and for test automation engineers.
• Contribution to the preparation of tender documents in the QA domain.
