Key Areas of Responsibilities
•
Act as an individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and executing high-quality test cases to ensure comprehensive functional and non-functional test coverage.
•
Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for new features and regression scenarios, ensuring automation is effectively integrated into regular release cycles.
•
Evaluate and leverage existing tools, frameworks, and AI-enabled QA solutions to enhance automation capabilities, improve testing efficiency, and optimize quality processes.
•
Contribute to effort estimation, test planning, and automation framework design, while proactively identifying and escalating risks, delays, and issues at an early stage.
•
Ensure test builds are rigorously validated and collaborate closely with Development, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to maintain quality and delivery alignment.
Requirements
•
6–10 years of QA experience, preferably within the Investment Banking domain.
•
Strong experience in Cash Equities Front Office application testing, including OMS/EMS platforms. Experience to US markets is a plus.
•
Good troubleshooting skills in UNIX, SQL, and FIX, with working knowledge of log analysis, basic database queries, and the ability to leverage AI-assisted analysis for faster issue identification.
•
Hands-on experience with Java / Spring Boot / Python, with the ability to support automation framework development and maintenance of automated test suites.
•
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments; a strong team player able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with minimal supervision.
