As a Field Service Engineer – Early Career (Austin, TX), you’ll take on a hands-on role supporting ASM’s advanced semiconductor equipment and helping our customers keep their fabs running at peak performance. You’ll build real-world expertise through structured training, mentorship, and on-the-job learning while working directly with technologies that power AI, 5G, cloud computing, and next‑generation devices. You’ll begin with a 24-month structured training program in Hillsboro, OR, where you’ll work side-by-side with experienced engineers and gain hands-on exposure to our industry-leading equipment and processes. This phase is designed to quickly build both your technical depth and confidence in the field.
After completing your training, you’ll transition into a founding member of a newly established Field Service Engineering team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how we support and scale this new operation, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with strong visibility and impact from day one.
You’ll work with vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, sensors, advanced metrology, and complex hardware‑software interactions. Your contributions will have a direct impact on tool performance, system uptime, and customer success, playing a meaningful role in enabling leading‑edge logic technology nodes.
