Level II - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of five years of experience as a telecommunications dispatcher in a law enforcement telecommunications system or as a network specialist in a data communications system or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting the completion of six hours of computer science coursework for each year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of 18 semester hours.
Level III - One additional year of qualifying experience.

This position is located in the OLETS Network Operation Center (NOC) and is considered essential staff. The NOC is manned 24/7/365 and shift work is mandatory.
Applicants must be an OLETS certified terminal operator or obtain operator certification before completion of the probationary period.
Applicants must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel associated with this position and be willing and able to work irregular hours, i.e., rotating shifts.
Applicants must pass the background investigation required by the Department of Public Safety including the submission of fingerprints.
