The objective of this project is to enhance the IPQA automation ecosystem by standardizing testcase management, enabling intelligent testcase generation driven by PDK updates, and streamlining key operational workflows such as temporary waiver updates. The project also aims to build a robust IPQA Exit Criteria Framework to ensure consistent quality gates across all IP QA validation stages. Ultimately, the project will improve efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and establish scalable and future‑ready QA automation processes.
The project is expected to give the intern hands-on experience in QA workflow automation, database design, and rule-based testcase generation, while building expertise in PDK-driven validation flows and end-to-end project ownership—from requirements gathering to implementation and stakeholder presentation. These experiences aim to strengthen technical, automation, and project management skills, with contributions integrated into the IPQA Nexus ecosystem for meaningful impact. For the company, anticipated benefits include improved efficiency through automation, enhanced accuracy and traceability, streamlined workflows, and standardized quality gates via the IPQA Exit Criteria Framework. The solutions developed will also provide long-term scalability, forming a foundation for future IPQA automation strategies and technology node expansions.
