Managing assigned project(s) throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project’s objectives. Provides high level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design related specifications, calculations, reports and plans. Coordinates with internal and external partners including cross-discipline and functional teams to address and problem solve design related issues or concerns. Candidates should be familiar with delivering or supporting the delivery of smaller projects and will receive direct support from senior project managers. You will support transit and railroad projects at all stages from conceptual study and alternative analysis to final design and construction related services. Types of projects may include interlocking renewals, bridge replacements, new track construction, and station designs for Amtrak, SEPTA, PATCO, PATH, Pittsburgh Regional Transit, PennDOT and other national rail clients throughout the United States. Opportunities can include client interaction and marketing/proposal development. The Pennsylvania office had a diverse set of engineers at all levels and railroad disciplines allowing hands on learning from junior and senior staff for track, OCS, signals, power, structures, civil and more.
