At Reaktor’s Public Sector unit, over 100 Reaktorians work on exactly these kinds of high-impact challenges.
We’re looking for a driven Sales & Account Manager to help us grow this work — someone who wants business development to mean something bigger than closing deals, where “long-term client relationship” means actually improving the structures of society.
Nice to have
You don’t need to be a fully established sales or account lead yet. You have at least 2-3+ years of experience in a relevant field (see below) and a passion to learn. What matters most is a solid foundation, strong motivation to grow in public sector business development, and the ability to learn from experienced colleagues while gradually taking on more independent responsibility.
Founded in 2000, Reaktor has 700+ employees across Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, New York, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Tokyo, working with clients like adidas, HBO, Supercell, Air France-KLM and KONE. In the public sector specifically, we specialize in critical IT projects that cannot afford to fail.
Your role
You’ll work closely with Reaktor’s Public Sector team and contribute to sales and account work from day one, learning by doing alongside experienced colleagues while taking ownership as you grow. In practice:
Responsibilities
•
Run Reaktor’s day-to-day Public Sector business, accounts and sales together with the team
•
Engage with clients, handle daily communications, and build strong long-term relationships
•
Help and support Reaktor’s project teams (developers, designers, consultants) delivering the client work
•
Participate in public sales processes: tender documents, proposals, presentations, reference decks
•
Join customer meetings and present sales pitches that help win cases
•
Collaborate with Reaktor’s partners and subcontractors to strengthen sales, staffing and delivery
Build your skills toward leading selected accounts, sales processes and client relationships over time
What we’re looking for
Requirements
•
2-3+ years in a customer-facing role — sales, account management, or as a consultant (project manager, service manager, strategy or technology consultant)
•
Fluent Finnish and English, with exceptionally strong Finnish writing skills — the role involves a lot of writing
•
Background in consulting or professional services
•
Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine drive to exceed the client’s expectations
•
Excellent collaboration skills, willingness to work with Reaktor’s project teams, support them and help them shine in their work
•
Attention to detail and comfort producing clear, structured sales materials — including the lengthy Excel documents that are often part of the public bidding competitions
•
A make-it-happen attitude, and curiosity to keep learning in the sales field
Experience coordinating or leading teams, projects or workstreams and experience in public sector sales processes are considered a plus
