Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan. Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform complete physical examinations. Diagnose and treat chronic and episodic medical conditions. Assess patients’ responses to medications and adjust treatment as medically appropriate. Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatments within your scope of practice and prescribing authority. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient healthcare needs. Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and prognoses. Educate patients and families about preventive care, medical conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Respond to patient questions regarding medications, refills, and general healthcare needs. Communicate with pharmacies, laboratories, radiology departments, and external healthcare providers as needed. Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines. Respond to electronic health record tasks and provider action queues within established timeframes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case staffing. Collaborate with clinical and behavioral health teams to support integrated care. Follow applicable federal and Arizona regulations, quality standards, and patient safety requirements. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical review processes.
