While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, drive, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position operates primarily in mobile and community-based environments and requires frequent travel throughout assigned service areas. Assessments and admissions activities may occur in hospitals, emergency departments, residential facilities, outpatient programs, correctional facilities, schools, community agencies, client residences, and other referral locations. Employees may interact with individuals experiencing psychiatric, behavioral health, substance use, withdrawal, or crisis-related situations and may encounter exposure to viruses, diseases, infections, and emotionally sensitive or traumatic situations.
