Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering from program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (EAC/ABET) OR
•
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering technology from a program accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET) OR
•
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in mathematical, physical, or engineering science approved by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE) (written approval from the TBPE must accompany application.) OR
•
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering field from a program accredited by a signatory of the Washington Accord.
•
Current Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate issued within the United States will qualify.
•
An individual who has passed the eight (8) hour Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) will qualify. (A copy of official exam results must accompany application.)
