Purpose
As a Global Procurement Sourcing Manager – Industrial Lifecycle, you will drive AB InBev’s long-term global sourcing strategy across MRO and Lifecycle Management categories, including industrial maintenance spare parts and services, repairs and overhauls, and spare parts inventory management. Working closely with technical, maintenance, and procurement stakeholders, you will identify strategic sourcing opportunities, optimize supplier partnerships, reduce costs and working capital, and deliver sustainable value across our global operations. You will also play a key role in advancing spare parts data management, analytics, and inventory optimization initiatives that support operational excellence across our breweries and facilities.
The Role
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
•
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for MRO and Lifecycle Management categories, aligned with business priorities and AB InBev objectives.
•
Partner with business leaders to identify and segment spend opportunities, delivering cost savings, spend avoidance, and working capital improvements.
•
Lead RFQ processes, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.
•
Manage and negotiate framework agreements with key suppliers, including pricing, rebates, payment terms, and supplier performance expectations.
•
Benchmark pricing and commercial practices across OEMs, OMMs, AMMs, distributors, and service providers.
•
Leverage Global Procurement and Zone Procurement capabilities to maximize value creation across the category portfolio.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
•
Collaborate with Global Technical teams, ZBS Maintenance, and Zone Procurement leaders to define maintenance strategies and supplier selection approaches.
•
Establish and monitor category objectives aligned with overall AB InBev performance targets.
•
Lead supplier business reviews and foster strong partnerships that drive innovation, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
•
Manage communication and information flows across global procurement and maintenance networks.
Sourcing Project Delivery
•
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality sourcing projects across global and regional categories.
•
Monitor project performance and provide guidance to stakeholders throughout project execution.
•
Act as an escalation point for sourcing and project-related challenges.
•
Continuously improve sourcing methodologies, tools, and processes by leveraging procurement and industry best practices.
Supply Market Intelligence
•
Provide insights on market dynamics, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, pricing trends, and emerging technologies.
•
Develop and implement market intelligence tools, reporting methodologies, and analytical frameworks.
•
Support sourcing strategies, supplier reviews, and business decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
•
Evaluate supplier capabilities and identify opportunities in new technologies, markets, and supplier networks.
•
Advise stakeholders on category trends, sourcing opportunities, and industry best practices.
Knowledge & Capability Development
•
Design and maintain strategic category plans for product lines and sourcing categories.
•
Capture and document sourcing best practices, methodologies, and category knowledge.
•
Build expertise in complex and emerging categories to support business growth and operational requirements.
Spare Parts & Inventory Optimization
•
Lead initiatives to improve spare parts management processes across global operations.
•
Develop global spare parts inventory and procurement analytics capabilities.
•
Drive the global spare parts working capital governance and improvement agenda.
•
Support implementation of digital inventory and analytics solutions, including Verusen, Total Asset Management (TAM), and related platforms.
•
Improve data quality and coverage across SAP master data, TAM databases, and global data repositories.
•
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Tech Supply teams to pilot innovative inventory management and cost optimization solutions.
•
Support the expansion and effectiveness of Zone Engineering Centers and Reliability Centers through improved sourcing and spare parts strategies.
•
Define and implement spare parts approaches for capital projects in collaboration with Global Engineering Maintenance SMEs.
•
Conduct site visits and facilitate continuous improvement activities related to spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
