Help Shape the Future of Singapore’s Built Environment
Singapore’s buildings, infrastructure and urban spaces do not happen by accident. Behind every home, workplace, construction project and city space are systems, regulations and services that keep the built environment safe, sustainable and future-ready.
At GovTech, forward deployed to Building and Construction Authority (BCA), you will work on digital products and platforms that support how Singapore regulates, plans and transforms its built environment. These are not concept projects or isolated prototypes — they are real systems used by officers, industry professionals and businesses every day.
You will be part of a team working to modernise complex services, improve user experiences and rethink how digital products can better support the future of Singapore.
[What you will be working on]
We’re looking for a Senior Designer to join the Design team and help shape the future of BCA’s regulatory eServices for Singapore’s Built Environment industry.
Building Safety & Quality (BSQ) is a large-scale digital transformation programme that unifies 15 fragmented legacy systems into a single, end-to-end digital ecosystem, serving construction professionals, building owners, accredited checkers, and other industry stakeholders across the full building lifecycle, from pre-construction through to maintenance.
As a Senior Designer, you’ll work on complex, multi-persona user journeys spanning across multiple services, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, policy officers and domain experts to lead discovery and uncover opportunities that meaningfully improve how industry users transact with BCA.
You’ll bring clarity to complex regulatory problem spaces by translating research and systems thinking into actionable product strategies, while collaborating with other designers to raise the overall quality and consistency of the design practice across the BSQ product suite.
