About the role
You’ll be Spara’s first dedicated demand gen hire, building the function from the ground up and finding the channel mix that wins. You’ll report directly into the Head of Marketing and serve as a thought partner in steering the brand, laying the foundation for the marketing function, and shaping the ultimate success of Spara.
Working alongside senior GTM leadership, you’ll be the connective tissue between sales and marketing, turning positioning into pipeline and pipeline into sales conversations reps actually want to take.
And because we sell agent-led growth, you’ll live it. Spara’s own agents will be part of your funnel, engaging and qualifying the demand you generate, so you’ll learn faster than any marketer relying on forms and follow-up sequences ever could.
What you’ll do
•
Design, launch, and own our demand gen engine: paid, email nurture, retargeting, webinars, AEO/GEO, events, and partner co-marketing, chosen and sequenced by what the data tells you.
•
Run a rapid, disciplined test-and-learn program across channels: form a hypothesis, ship the experiment, read the results honestly, and double down on what generates qualified pipeline. Some of your best-performing plays will cost almost nothing.
•
Treat our database as a channel of its own, with nurture, reactivation, and lifecycle programs that turn dormant leads, closed-lost deals, and event contacts back into pipeline.
•
Invent creative plays across the ecosystem: partner webinars and co-marketing with adjacent GTM tools, community presence where our buyers already hang out, and turning founder and exec content into a distribution engine.
•
Use AI as a force multiplier across everything, from audience research and creative iteration to personalization, campaign analysis, and workflow automation.
•
Partner with the Head of Sales and reps to align campaigns to segments and territories, tighten the marketing-to-sales handoff, and run hand-built ABM plays on the accounts that matter most.
•
Bring a strong point of view on what we should try next, argue for it with evidence, and change your mind quickly when the numbers disagree.
Who you are
•
Hands-on. 5+ years running B2B SaaS demand gen or growth marketing end-to-end. You’ve personally built and run paid, email, and content-driven campaigns.
•
A self-starter. You see the gap, scope the work, and ship it.
•
AI is how you work. You’re constantly experimenting with new tools, agents, and automation, and you have strong opinions about what actually moves the needle.
•
Opinionated and data-honest. You bring a strong POV about what to test and why, and you let the pipeline number decide what survives.
•
A true partner to sales. You’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with sales leadership and reps, and you measure yourself on the numbers they care about: qualified pipeline and revenue.
•
Fluent in the stack. Strong command of marketing automation, CRM, and attribution tooling (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), and quick to pick up whatever’s next.
Nice to have
•
Experience running demand gen across both PLG and sales-led motions.
•
ABM and field/event marketing experience: driving attendance, follow-up, and promotion.
•
An eye for creative that converts, and experience directing freelance talent to scale it.
Location & Work Schedule
In-office 4 days per week in downtown Manhattan (World Trade Center), with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
