All Saints Sub Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a Part-Time AM shift. Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on, compassionate care to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. The CNA works closely with licensed nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care in accordance with care plans and facility standards.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
•
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
•
Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
•
Obtain and accurately record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
•
Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
•
Assist with meals and encourage appropriate nutrition and hydration.
•
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
•
Provide respectful, compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
•
Accurately document care provided according to facility policies and procedures.
•
Follow all infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
•
Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
•
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications
•
Current California CNA certification in good standing.
•
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to resident care.
•
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
•
Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and safety procedures.
•
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including assisting with resident mobility and transfers.
