About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is crucial in shaping and maintaining our company’s public image and reputation. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a keen understanding of media landscapes, a strong ability to build relationships, and a passion for public affairs. You will work closely with various internal departments, including marketing, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all communication channels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact PR campaigns and make a significant difference in how our brand is perceived by the public, stakeholders, and the media.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
•
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
•
Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
•
Manage media inquiries and respond to requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
•
Organize and coordinate press conferences, media events, and other public relations activities.
•
Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
•
Develop crisis communication plans and act as a key point of contact during sensitive situations.
•
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and support marketing initiatives.
•
Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, company blogs, and newsletters.
•
Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
•
Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Public Relations Specialist or in a similar communications role.
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
•
Demonstrated ability to craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR collateral.
•
Established relationships with media contacts and a strong understanding of media relations best practices.
•
Proficiency in media monitoring tools and social media management platforms.
•
Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
•
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR software.
