Job Description Summary :
To support the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of AI models, and digital tools that enhance operational efficiency, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making in Refinery unit. This role contributes directly to achieving higher productivity, reduced downtime, and improved sustainability through Industry 4.0 technologies.
Job Description :
Responsibilities
Digitalization & Data Integration
•
Develop and maintain real-time data acquisition systems using IoT sensors and edge computing devices.
•
Contribute to the development and deployment of dashboards, MES, and smart factory interfaces.
•
Ensure seamless connectivity between automation systems and plant information management systems.
AI/ML Implementation Support
•
Collect, clean, and organize process data for use in AI/ML models (e.g., for predictive maintenance or quality forecasting).
•
Assist in training and validating AI algorithms under supervision of the Lead.
•
Support model deployment and monitor performance to ensure expected outcomes.
Project Execution & Commissioning
•
Participate in site surveys, installation, and commissioning of digital and automation projects.
•
Work closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
•
Ensure systems are tested, documented, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
Documentation & Reporting
•
Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and system manuals.
•
Prepare daily/weekly activity reports, incident logs, and performance summaries for management review.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
•
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation or digital upgrades in plant processes.
•
Recommend new technologies, methods, or tools for enhanced process efficiency.
•
Stay updated on latest trends in AI, automation, and industrial digitalization.
Nice to have
Advantage competency from applicant
•
Competency in .net framework, C# and python as programming developers
•
Competency in integration for OT and IT environment in socket communication and WCF
•
Competency in SQL database and system design for high availability
Job Requirement :
•
Minimal 5 years of experience in programming, troubleshooting, and integration from OT platform to IT network / system / database
•
Polytechnic graduation or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering is preferred (others related major are allowed)
•
Fluent in English, intermediate level for speak, listen, read, and write with mandarin could be advantage)
•
Willing to travel in 50% frequency by land, sea or air with no phobia with potential sudden assignment
•
Willing to be located in Head Office Jakarta (Thamrin)
