Job Description
Job Title: Metallic Operator
Reports to: Metallic Team Leader
Direct Reports: None
Purpose of Role:
Supporting the manufacture of thermal insulation components including ducts, pipes, blankets and stretch formed material to ensure they conform to customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
•
Accurately interpret and complete production route cards (Technical Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Data Sheets).
•
Maintain good housekeeping standards of the work area implementing Safety + 5 S methods (Sort, Set, Standardise, Shine, Sustain)
•
Achieve company work & quality standards by applying your skills and knowledge and taking pride in your work
•
Participate in team-based activities to meet productivity and on time delivery targets
•
Work in line with the Company Values (Safety, Accountability, Respect & Trust, Integrity, Excellence, Customer Focus) and demonstrate the associated behaviours in your daily work
•
Consistently follow Health, Safety & Environmental procedures, including wearing the required personal protective equipment provided
•
Complete training as required and apply the learning in performing operations to demonstrate competence
