Role Overview
The Rocket Growth Inbound and Logistics Engineering team is dedicated to the success of our sellers and the end-to-end efficiency of the Rocket Growth
supply chain. Our mission is to build the scalable, reliable, and intelligent systems that power every step from pre-ship to stow—enabling sellers to create, manage, and fulfill inbounds with confidence and speed. We create the tools, services, platforms, and FC integrations that form the backbone of the seller experience, from intuitive WING interfaces to high-performance backend processing that orchestrates shipment logistics and warehouse operations at scale.
The ideal candidate is a backend or full stack engineer with experience in building scalable data systems and excellent problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
•
Design, develop, and automate large-scale, high-performance systems to drive business growth and enhance product experiences.
•
Build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using best-in-class software engineering practices.
•
Take full ownership of projects, ensuring high-quality development and operational health.
Basic Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field
•
4 years of professional software development experience
•
Experience working in cloud environments
•
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems
•
Strong inclination to learn and grow
Preferred Qualifications
•
Strong expertise in Java, Spring, AWS, APIs and Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch.
•
Exceptional coding skills, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, refactoring, performance optimization, and complexity analysis.
•
Strong communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and collaborate with product and technical teams.
•
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed systems at scale, making trade-offs based on business demands.
•
Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
•
Comfortable with Front-end development leveraging the power of AI
