What will you do?
* Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
* Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues, recommending and tracking corrective actions.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
* Provide EHS training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, emergency preparedness, confined spaces, and lockout/tagout.
* Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of hazardous materials.
* Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental parameters to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
* Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal tracking.
* Participate in EHS committee meetings and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
* Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and conduct drills.
* Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and projects.
