Requirements
What Youâll Do
â˘
Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesâŻfor revenue and related accounts, ensuring timely and accurate results.
â˘
Lead the end-to-end process of revenue recognitionâŻfor software licenses, SaaS, and professional services, ensuring compliance withâŻIFRS 15âŻandâŻlocal GAAPâŻforâŻ20 countries.
â˘
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statementsâŻ(balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) under both IFRS and HGB, ensuring compliance and transparency.
â˘
Take ownership of group reporting, consolidating results and coordinating the activities that power both internal decisions and external disclosures.
â˘
Build and evolve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsâŻthat keep our financial reporting rock-solid.
â˘
Author technical accounting memosâŻand documentation that stand up to audit scrutiny.
â˘
Manage internal and external auditsâŻwith confidence and clarity, serving as the primary point of contact and owning the resolution of accounting and reporting matters.
â˘
Continuously improve financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability in a cloud-first environment.
â˘
Be a trusted advisorâŻon financial reporting topics across the business.
What You Bring
Nice to have
â˘
A degree inâŻAccounting, Finance, or a related fieldâŻâ CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a big plus.
â˘
6+ years of experienceâŻin accounting, ideally in the software or professional services space.
â˘
Deep knowledge ofâŻIFRS (especially IFRS 15) and HGBâŻâ and the ability to apply it in real-world, fast-moving scenarios.
â˘
Strong experience inâŻfinancial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation.
â˘
Experience withâŻSAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA,âŻand a passion for leveraging technology to improve processes.
â˘
StrongâŻanalytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate complex topics clearly.
â˘
Fluent inâŻEnglish and German.
