· Represent state agencies, officers and employees in civil actions and proceedings in state, federal and appellate courts, which include research, brief writing, discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, and appellate arguments.
· Travel around the state and occasionally out of state.
· Maintain quality relationships with clients.
· Maintain good relationships with adversaries and the judiciary.
· Receive necessary and appropriate training as needed to maintain license and knowledge relevant to work.
· Work with other AAGs and support staff on cases in a collegial manner.
· Meet all internal and external deadlines.
· Prepare and submit weekly reports and other communications to keep superiors aware of all activity.
