Pima County Human Resources is seeking an innovative Human Resources professional with expertise in employee development, learning systems, and Workday configuration to join our Training and Development team. As a Training and Development Officer, you will play a key role in shaping how more than 7,000 Pima County employees learn, grow, and perform by developing and administering learning and performance solutions that support both employee development and organizational success.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining functionality within the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) and Performance Management system. You will work closely with Human Resources staff, subject matter experts, and County departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective system solutions, configure and test functionality, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve learning and performance systems and processes.
You will be part of a team that delivers professional development and training to a diverse workforce representing a wide range of professions, including sergeants, librarians, engineers, administrative and health care professionals, cooks, correctional officers, attorneys, lifeguards, equipment operators, and many other essential public service professionals.
