Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary depending on role focus and organisational requirements, and may include:

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
•
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
•
Financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance insights
•
Oversight of general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close
•
Supporting commercial and strategic decision-making
•
Ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
•
Liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders
•
Improving financial systems, reporting accuracy, and processes
•
Coaching, mentoring, or managing junior finance staff
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
•
CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred
•
5–10+ years’ experience in progressively responsible finance roles
•
Strong understanding of IFRS and South African financial regulations
•
Experience with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
