• Professional-level Spanish proficiency required, with excellent speaking, writing, reading comprehension and interpretation skills. Must be able to understand and communicate cultural context, nuance and tone when developing Spanish-language content.
• Minimum 2 years of professional television production experience, with experience at a major television network strongly preferred.
• Working English proficiency required for internal communication and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of Miami and South Florida news, culture, current events and the interests of the region’s diverse Spanish-speaking audiences.
• Strong research, interview preparation and editorial skills, with the ability to quickly understand a topic, identify the relevant angle and provide talent with accurate context and supporting information.
• Experience booking and coordinating guests and interviews preferred.
• Experience creating and managing rundowns and executing live productions, including timing, cues, transitions, interviews, commercial breaks and real-time adjustments.
• Strong understanding of live television and radio timing, programming benchmarks and audience-focused programming strategies.
• Strong audio and video editing skills and proficiency with professional digital content creation and production tools.
• Experience creating, editing, packaging and publishing short-form and long-form video for major social media and digital platforms.
• Experience producing, editing, packaging and distributing podcasts and other on-demand content.
• Strong Spanish-language writing and copywriting skills for social posts, headlines, descriptions, articles and other digital content.
• Ability to create or adapt graphics, photos and visual assets for digital and social use.
• Strong understanding of how content should be produced and packaged differently for television/video, social media, web, podcasts and broadcast radio.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify timely, relevant and engaging content while maintaining accuracy and appropriate context.
• Experience with broadcast consoles and radio production workflows preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in live production and fast-moving digital environments and adapt when content, timing or priorities change.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate closely with on-air talent, Programming, Digital and other production teams.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and special events when required.
