You will join our Motor Tools Team, a sub-team within the R&D organization developing software tools and solutions for our handheld battery products. You will be one of two dedicated Software Engineers focusing on R&D, production and dealers PC tools.
As a Software Engineer in the Motor Tools Team, you will develop and maintain internal R&D PC tools used for configuration, testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and firmware deployment. These tools are important for enabling our R&D teams to communicate with products, download software, and support efficient development and verification.
The Motor Tools team are also responsible for our internal web page where the users find information of released software for all our handheld battery tools.
You will also be part of the team responsible for scripts used at dealers and in the production line for firmware download and testing.
You will provide third-line support when needed, without on-call duty.
In this role, you will be close to both software and product development, working with handheld battery tools where software, electronics, and mechanics come together.
