The Clinical Implementation Consultant & Regulatory/MIPS Specialist operates in a dual capacity, serving as both a primary software implementation consultant for new/existing clients and as an in-house subject matter expert on clinical regulatory compliance and MIPS attestation.
This role balances end-to-end clinical onboarding and workflow configuration with specialized consultative guidance to ensure client compliance with healthcare quality reporting programs and regulatory mandates
Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Implementation Consulting (50%)
•
Implementation Management: Oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of software implementation for assigned clients, driving projects through key product learning milestones to completion
•
System Configuration & Workflow Alignment: Configure the application utilizing best practices for clinical functionality, billing, scheduling, and documentation. Assist clients in reviewing existing operational processes and developing optimized clinical workflow plans
•
Client Enablement & Training: Lead interactive training sessions with client teams to ensure effective software usage and platform adoption
•
Project Execution & Scope Control: Follow structured project plans, maintain scope and timeline expectations, coordinate data conversions and interface timelines, and escalate issues appropriately
•
Transition & Satisfaction: Hand off successfully implemented accounts to Client Support while assuring high overall client satisfaction (CSAT)
Regulatory & MIPS Consulting (50%)
•
Regulatory & Governance Strategy: Drive client governance strategies and MIPS operations, identifying gaps in regulatory compliance and guiding clients on platform best practices to maintain compliance and achieve attestation
•
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a solution expert for regulatory quality reporting measures (current and future), translating complex mandates into actionable software workflows
•
Product & Professional Services Liaison: Collaborate with Product Management to continually assess features and future regulatory enhancements, acting as a bridge between client compliance needs and product roadmap execution
•
Documentation & Education: Create, update, and push out standardized educational materials, compliance guides, and internal cross-training documentation for colleagues and client consumption
•
Escalations & Success Tracking: Act as the direct point of contact for complex regulatory inquiries, independently manage client escalations, and measure/share client success stories
Position Proficiencies and Requirements
•
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. An active or past clinical background/degree is a strong plus.

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in at least two of the following areas: EMR/EHR Implementations, Medical Software Training, Project Management, or Healthcare Regulatory Implementations

Regulatory Knowledge: Practical working knowledge of MIPS, healthcare quality reporting programs, and clinical compliance attestation
•
Technical & Healthcare Aptitude: Familiarity with medical computerized billing, scheduling, and clinical documentation systems. Experience in medical office environments, customer support, or clinical workflow consulting is preferred.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Windows OS, Google Workspace, MS Office, and standard implementation/project collaboration tools
