Are you a dedicated Retail Manager with the drive to take on a new challenge that can kick your professional development into a higher gear?
Are you ready to commit yourself to join the Country Management Team in Spain and Portugal and take the responsibility for retail in a region with 60 stores. As Retail Manager you have the flexibility to be located, in Madrid, Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona or others, preferably near an international airport in North IBERIA.

WHAT WILL YOUR JOB AT JYSK BE LIKE
As a Retail Manager, you will be part of the country management team and will ensure operational excellence and a customer-first approach within your region/country. You will empower District Managers and follow JYSK values and leadership principles to achieve budgets and goals.
•
You will lead a region comprising 6 to 7 districts, with direct responsibility for the development and support of your District Managers, while indirectly influencing a team of more than 540 people across 60 or more stores.
•
Aligned with our JYSK Values and JYSK Leadership you are responsible to ensure that the stores in your region is 100% ready for sales and customers by communicating, leading and coaching your District Managers on a distance and when visiting them
•
Make sure the District Managers have a strong plan to achieve the key figures goals and you motivate them to do so
•
Follow up and secure that routines and concepts are executed in all stores
•
Train your Managers in Recruitment, Performance Management and Leadership to make sure they have the best tools to create results in their districts

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
•
Retail Manager with a proven track record of reaching great result
•
At least 3 years of experience as a Retail Manager in a retail company
•
A Customer First mindset in everything you do
•
Proactive and energetic tradesman with a strong understanding of how to work in with concepts
•
A good sense for detail, but flexible to respond to unexpected challenges
•
Ability to work independently, but a track record in creating excellent results through your teams
•
Advanced communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English
•
Spanish and Portuguese good level
•
Good in building your organisation and growing a substitute bench
•
Master or Similar Business certificate will be valued
•
Availability to travel 3/4 of the time

Selection process in Spain:
1.
We process applications on an ongoing basis and complete the hiring process once we find the right candidate.
2.
We will review your application within 1 week (business days).
3.
If successful, we will send you a link to answer some video interview questions.
4.
If you move on to the next stage, you will be invited to complete two online assessments.
5.
After that, we will conduct a short phone interview.
6.
If you pass all the previous stages, you will be invited to an in-person interview, and after that, the final step will be a reference check from previous experience.
