Your New Role
Responsibilities
•
Certified system admin for ServiceNow Platform: This role supports the entire ServiceNow Platform housing multiple modules and also provides support towards integration, workflow and automation between ServiceNow & multiple other systems and services…
•
Support, maintain and improve solution developed in ServiceNow Platform & underlying infrastructure such as Integration/MID servers
•
Write well designed & high-quality testable code as part of breakfix solutions or minor enhancements
•
Patch deployment including AWS & Azure MID Server patching, Plugin upgrades, City upgrades
•
Produce specifications as part of problem solving and determine operational feasibility
•
Creating, responding to and troubleshooting ServiceNow Hi Cases via Case portal/working with ServiceNow Support Engineers during/after business hours as per requirements
•
Support API integration, Connector based integrations. Archiving, purging, platform capacity metrics tracking, reporting and management of overall capacity via archiving and purging solutions
•
Deploy programs/Update sets in ServiceNow environments. Support business processes via data query, analysis and adhoc report developments using Performance Analytics
•
Comply with project plans, release management, change management policies and regulatory/audit requirements
•
ServiceNow engineer will support the module, features/integrations on below modules: ITSM, ITOM : Discovery and Mapping, HR Service Delivery Module, Procurement Service Delivery Module, Vulnerability response management & Config compliance, BCM Module, SIR Module, Custom Apps within ServiceNow, Integration Hub, Service Portal, Service Request and Fulfilment
What Will You Bring
•
8+ years Technology experience with minimum 3+ years in ServiceNow support/admin roles
•
Hands on experience on latest city version of ServiceNow (Tokyo, Utah) and in AWS/Azure environment for supporting MID Servers, patching and configuration deployment
•
Current ServiceNow foundation/sys admin certification is mandatory
•
Software Delivery skills such as CI/CD, Software / Source Code Configuration Management is mandatory. Platform automation tools (Jenkins, GITHUB, Ansible)
•
Familiarity with agile workflow tools such as JIRA / Rally
•
Knowledge & experience with build languages esp. JavaScript, flow designer
•
Hands on strong experience in troubleshooting and complex problem solving on ServiceNow modules and related API integrations, Connectors etc.
•
Knowledge of ServiceNow table structure, code, strong API and Microservices knowledge
•
Ability to prioritise and effectively manage and deliver in challenging environment with onshore/offshore resource mix
•
Excellent documentation and communication skills, hungry for documenting and transferring knowledge to other team members.
•
Strong commitment to quality and auditability, adherence to change management requirements
•
Deployment of programs/Update sets in non-prod and Production environment f0llowing release management
•
Well versed with ServiceNow development best practices.
