The Employee Health and Compliance Nurse is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Nursing Department’s employee health program in accordance with federal (OSHA, CDC) regulations, state home health licensure, and accreditation requirements across all states in which the organization operates or is seeking licensure. This role ensures the agency’s employee health practices related to nursing employees — including TB screening, immunization tracking, communicable disease monitoring, exposure management, and personnel health recordkeeping — meet or exceed the requirements of each state’s home health/home care licensing authority, and serves as the organization’s subject-matter expert on employee health regulatory compliance during new-state licensure applications, surveys, and accreditation reviews. The Employee Health Nurse works closely with the Nursing, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory standards are met and maintained.
