Map the government’s planning and financing architecture (Planning Commission, ERD, Finance Division and line ministries) to identify national programs where nutrition can be integrated at scale.
· Analyze bilateral and multilateral donors , MDB (World Bank, ADB, IsDB etc), philanthropies’ and private sector funding trends, strategies and pipelines to identify funding windows, technical-assistance opportunities for nutrition, and recommend pathways of engagement.
· Maintain a Bangladesh-focused donor opportunity pipeline covering bilateral donors, MDBs, UN pooled funds, trust funds, climate-finance facilities and similar sources, and track upcoming funding opportunities and calls for proposals.
· Work with relevant program, technical and Business Development teams (including the Business Development Unit of the Partnership & Growth team) on opportunity analysis and initiation of concept development.
· Support donor engagement by preparing briefing notes, talking points, background papers and meeting strategies.
· Explore and structure innovative financing models and options (such as blended finance and outcome-based instruments) to mobilize resources for NI’s engagement and to implement and scale up nutrition interventions
· Map and assess INGOs, national NGOs, CSOs, private sector and research institutions for their comparative advantages, compliance capacity and relevance for joint programming, resource mobilization and formal collaboration.
· Support the Country Director to engage alliances and platforms (INGO Forum, CSO Alliance, SUN platforms) effectively and identify new platforms to represent NI nationally and internationally.
· Support program team to develop compelling concept notes, proposals, pitch decks and business cases tailored to donor and market demands, and provide guidance on narrative alignment for multi-country and multi-partner proposals.
· Develop positioning and strategic communication materials for external engagement — country profiles, investment cases, policy briefs, pitch decks and success stories — and coordinate with regional and global communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality publications.
